About Me:

Zanna Wise, LMT

Hi, thanks for stopping by. I’m Zanna - my friends call me Bear - and I’m a holistic massage therapist trained at The Bodhi Tree Center for Healing Arts in Nevada. Holistic, to me, means that I consider the entire person when planning and implementing strategies. I have hundreds of hours of hands-on experience, helping clients find relief from acute pain, achieve deep relaxation, and support their overall well-being. Im’ devoted to serving our community in just this way.

I’m also a sister, an auntie, a dog mom, a partner, and community is at the center of why I do what I do. It’s at the heart of what I’m building at Syzygy, too.

I have a deep love for the mind-body connection. My background in sports, yoga, and horses is where that love began, and how it was nurtured for decades. Becoming a teacher, and later a welder of large scale art showed me how necessary a strong, consistent self care routine is. I found moving meditation, emotional release, and space to be free learning to ride when I was younger, and I’ve carried that sense of ‘calm-in-motion’ into my practice. Playing Softball with The Wolf Pack I learned determination, built a regular weight training routine, and learned how to keep knees and shoulders in working order as best we can, and I’m grateful to be able to share this knowledge with clients. Yoga is the last piece of my mind-body trifecta and I began a daily yoga practice in 2007. I have volunteered at hot yoga studios, practiced a form of partner balancing called acro-yoga, taken the practice deeper in the jungles of Costa Rica and the beaches of Hawaii, and incorporate the principles into everyday living. I’m not just a massage therapist, I got into this work because I needed it, and it changed my life and my relationship to my body, and now I can share that with you.

I have a passion for helping people feel better in their bodies and would be honored to work with you. I have created Syzygy with those who serve others in mind. Generously priced to make health and wellness accessible to more people, I’m eager to serve teachers (as I used to be one, and know the hero work you do), other practitioners, artists of all kinds, new moms, aging clients, and anyone who is doing their best in this crazy, beautiful life.

I got into massage to serve my community, I want to meet you, I want to help if I can. I created a sanctuary to share and I’m personally inviting you to come and take advantage of the moment to pause, to set everything down and just be.

I often incorporate specialty modalities such hot stone, sound healing, craneosacral and cupping to create a truly unique experience each time. I have worked in beautiful upscale spas, truly inspiring healing centers, and a sports massage sanctuary. Each have inspired me in different ways, and I bring the most effective, relaxing and desirable elements of each to Syzygy Massage - my own special offering where you can come to let everything else go and put yourself first.
